Beaten for a Dog

Victoria Harrington is a world-class veterinarian who spends her life saving "children" with four legs, while mourning the two she lost when her husband’s boot met her pregnant stomach. In a twist of sick irony, James has replaced his wife and unborn twins with a mistress and a dog named Riley—the very name Victoria chose for the children she miscarried. When the dog ends up on her operating table, James begs the masked surgeon to save his "only child," oblivious that he is handing his most precious possession to the woman he betrayed. Now, the scalpel is in Victoria’s hand, the cameras are rolling, and she’s about to prove that while she’s trained to heal, she’s perfectly capable of making a clean cut.
