Rainy Night Centipede

In the classic revenge thriller, the hero is usually an innocent pushed too far, hunting down criminals in the shadows. But in this story, the monsters aren't back-alley thugs—they are the town’s "golden" honor students, and the law isn't just blind, it’s bought. Ms. Mitchell spent a decade in prison for surviving her abusive husband, only to emerge into a world where her daughter was murdered by the girls with the highest GPAs and the most powerful fathers. When the school deletes the footage and the police look the other way, this ex-con stops seeking redemption and starts seeking a reckoning. In a town that protected the bullies because of their pedigrees, they’re about to learn that there is no predator more dangerous than a mother who has already been to hell and is more than happy to go back.
