DMCA Policy

This policy explains how to submit copyright infringement notices and counter-notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"). We respond to valid notices and may remove or disable access to material that is alleged to be infringing.

1. Submitting a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on behalf of one) and you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, you may send a written notice with the following information:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to locate it (such as a URL).
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

2. Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice that includes:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the United States, the Northern District of California), and that you will accept service of process from the party that submitted the original DMCA notice or their agent.

3. Repeat Infringers

We may terminate accounts of repeat infringers, as appropriate and in our discretion.

4. Where to Send Notices

Submit notices and counter-notices through the contact methods listed on our website. Please include "DMCA Notice" or "DMCA Counter-Notice" in the subject line.

5. Important Notes

Submitting false or misleading information in a DMCA notice or counter-notice may result in legal liability. If you are unsure whether material infringes your copyright, you may wish to seek legal advice.
